Impacting Lives

“I would like to thank Lauren and Steven for their excellence in caring for a recent out of hospital cardiac arrest. By utilization of their skill, combined with the efforts of the Marietta Fire Department and the deployment of the LUCAS2 device, the patient presented to the hospital with a pulse and an increased chance of survival. This patient’s treatment course included therapeutic hypothermia, which further reduced the effects of the arrest episode on the brain. The cause of the cardiac arrest was diagnosed and corrected, and the patient has been discharged to her home. Thanks again for doing what you do and helping this patient survive.”

Mr. Adam Bomar, RN, BSN, CEN, EMTP

Cobb County, Georgia“In 2001 I knew our decision on an EMS provider would have a great impact on the quality and delivery of emergency services in our community and it was important that our public safety agencies had confidence in the management, staff and quality of the service provider. We made the right decision in selecting MetroAtlanta Ambulance as our 9-1-1 public/private partner for Cobb County. They have never wavered in their commitment and their performance has exceeded our expectations on all levels. Any County would be well served with the team of MetroAtlanta Ambulance Service as their ambulance service provider.”

Their willingness to listen to the healthcare needs in our community and work with other healthcare officials to creatively develop solutions that create win-win scenarios for all parties involved is a great characteristic of the company. Their willingness to be part of the solutions that result in positive changes in our community is what really sets them apart from the competition. There are more than 44, 000 small businesses in Cobb County and the business community recognized MetroAtlanta Ambulance Service as the Small Business of the Year in 2006. Because of your company’s compassion, a grandmother was able to attend the wedding of her only granddaughter. Again, thank you for the excellent service you provided.”
