MetroAtlanta Ambulance Paramedic Provides CPR Training to Local Boy Scout Leaders

MetroAtlanta Ambulance Paramedic and CPR Instructor Leigh Dooley provided CPR and AED training to local Scout leaders of Troop 277 at Marietta First United Methodist Church in Marietta, Georgia.  Troop 277 has more than 40 Scouts and 20 Adult Leaders that go camping in the wilderness where first responders may not be readily available.  Knowing how to recognize the signs and symptoms of a heart attack and knowing how to perform CPR could be the difference between life and death.

MetroAtlanta Ambulance encourages everyone over the age of 12 should know how and when to administer CPR. When performed correctly, CPR can save a life by restoring breathing and circulation until advanced life support can be given by health care providers.
