Please join me in congratulating MAAS Medics, Kim Burnett and Phil Douglas, on their awards and recognition by the Cobb Chamber of Commerce this morning at the annual Public Safety Appreciation Breakfast.
Kim Burnett received top recognition as the “Cobb County Public Safety Employee of the Year” and was recognized for her devotion to her profession, for performing her job with exceptional skill and for saving the life of bystander while on the way to work June 2, 2012.
Phil Douglas received the Award of Merit for Distinguished Service for his leadership in EMS and his community service, specifically his accomplishments with creating “Medics Military Missions”.
