MetroAtlanta Ambulance Adds 12 New Critical Intensive Care Paramedics to their Specialty Care Transport Team

Twelve MetroAtlanta Ambulance employees recently attended and completed the Cleveland Clinic EMS Academy's Critical Intensive Care Paramedic (CICP) program.  The CICP curriculum provides medics with the education, knowledge, and skill-sets required to deliver quality care to critically ill patients. The classroom component consisted of 88 hours of lecture and lab work.  The medics were not only instructed on the "why and when," but practiced the "how" to initiate the development of critical thinking at advanced levels. One aspect of the three month program consisted of local healthcare experts from a variety of backgrounds presenting useful information to the class.

Congratulations to graduates Jacki Bagley, Glenn Beaudrot, LA Davis, Lee Friend, Adam Herman, Torrance Hill, Louis Lopez,  Michelle Lynn, Tonya Rosenthal, Sandy Scarbrough, and Rose Southard.
