Zoll Respond
We are excited to announce the rollout of Zoll Respond across all our units, including Ambulance and Alternate Transportation. This upgrade replaces the old MDTs with a more modern and efficient Android tablet solution.

What You’ll See on Your Tablet:
You’ll have two key applications on the screen: Zoll Respond and Google Maps.
- Zoll Respond: This app works similarly to the old Navigator. You’ll be able to select your status from the top bar, including Enroute, AtScene, Transporting, AtDestination, and Complete.
- Google Maps Integration: While viewing your current call in Zoll Respond, you can launch Google Maps directly from the trip details. Simply hit “Start” to begin navigation to your destination.
Why Use Google Maps?
Switching to Google Maps offers several advantages over the current MDT navigation system:
- Real-Time Traffic Updates: Google Maps continuously updates traffic information, giving you the most efficient routes and helping to avoid delays.
- Automatic Rerouting: If there’s a traffic issue or roadblock, Google Maps will automatically reroute you to the fastest available path.
- Enhanced Accuracy: Google Maps provides precise location data, ensuring better route accuracy for your trips.
- Familiar Interface: Many users are already familiar with Google Maps, reducing the learning curve and improving overall efficiency.
