Metro Atlanta Ambulance Service was recognized as one of Cobb County's top 5 small businesses of the year at the Cobb Chamber's monthly breakfast on June 6, 2005. After the awards, Metro Atlanta's President Pete Quinones stated, "It's a great honor to be named in the top 5 small businesses in Cobb County for a second year in a row. We have worked hard over the past several years to strategically grow the organization both internally and externally and have really worked with our healthcare partners to find solutions to their medical transportation issues. Being privately owned and providing a public service often results in the people in our community assuming we are part of the government fire department and it's great to be recognized by the business community for our efforts. I'm proud of our management and staff and this recognization is for them".
