Pete Quinones, Metro Atlanta Ambulance Service President and CEO announced today that Marty Billings has joined the Metro Atlanta Ambulance management team as Senior Manager of Safety & Risk Management, Training and Quality Assurance. Mr. Billings brings more than 20 years of knowledge and experience to the position and will strengthen our ongoing efforts to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and continue to ensure we maintain clinical proficiency and compliance in the delivery of care to our patients. Mr. Billings holds a Bachelor of Science in Education degree and a Master of Education degree from the University of Georgia. He is a certified Georgia Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic, Georgia Fire Fighter and has held instructor certifications in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Life Support and Basic Trauma Life Support. His past work experience includes Fire Fighter- Paramedic, State of Georgia Region 10 EMS Coordinator, State of Georgia Region 3 EMS Coordinator and State EMS Director for the State of Georgia.
