Georgia’s Region III EMS Names MetroAtlanta Ambulance Supervisor Mitch Partello “Paramedic of the Year”

MetroAtlanta Paramedics Rich Palmer, Joe Simcox, Ronnie Delong and Mitch Partello were among many Cobb County public safety/health agency personnel recognized at the Region III EMS Award Banquet on March 2, 2005. Paramedics Palmer, Simcox and Delong were recognized for Excellence in Pediatric Care and MetroAtlanta Paramedic and Field Operations Supervisor Mitch Partello was recognized as the Region III EMS Paramedic of the Year. Lt. Partello was applauded and recognized for his professionalism and dedicated service to EMS. He is a member of the Region III EMS Quality Improvement Committee and volunteers numerous hours in the community teaching Boy Scouts and other community organizations about 9-1-1, first aid and other issues important to ensuring the public health in Cobb County. Metro Atlanta CEO Pete Quinones stated, "We are extremely proud of all the nominees for their public service but were really excited for Mitch and his family. He works extremely hard to make Cobb County a better place to live and truly deserves the recognition. He is an integral part of the leadership in our organization and we are proud to see his hard work duly recognized by his peers from throughout the greater Atlanta area."
